The DC Shark Defenders are hunkered down trying to ride out Hurricane Sandy.
While waiting for the power to go out we noticed this photo making the rounds on the Internet.
The media purports it to be a small shark swimming in a flooded Atlantic City, New Jersey front yard.
Fake or real? What do you think?
H/T to Kevin McCarty for the photo.
And while we have your attention, please watch this video from the world's largest shark sanctuary. We've also got more photos of us diving with 25 sharks -- without a cage.

If you take a close look at a few details, you can tell this is a photoshop. Look at the splash relative to the shark, it is far far too big. It is as large as 1/2 of the sharks body. What could a shark do in water 4 feet deep, as estimated by the bus and porch rail, that would create a splash as large as half of it's body. The splash is also far too white. While water does appear lighter when splashed into the air, water that dark and muddy does not splash that white. No way. I learned this fact a million times playing in dark watered lakes and swimming holes growing up. Dark water splashes dark. That splash is bright white. This is a fake.

http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.3812695001138.2141430.1390430512&type=1 his name is Kevin McCarty and it's not photoshopped
it is fake you twits. it even talks about it in the comments on his photos. if you knew who this guy was, you'd have to be pretty stupid to think it was real.
So if you did not know the source of the photo when you snatched it - why did you put your website name on the photo? It does not belong to you.
My sister goes to college with a girl whose friend lives in this neighborhood...the picture is real!

Isn't this guy a photographer...and yes the above link does look like the same shark pic that was then Photoshopped onto the yard...
Man... This Storm took lives, destroyed homes and all belongings, cars, businesses and all coasts in the tri-state area and this dumb fuck wants to have fun putting sharks in peoples flooded yards. This was no disaster to joke around about and i hope God will punish the poor soul who probably smoked a joint to and created this image on his computer. I hope he loses his hands!!
hey hotmess! it did not look like the same shark... it is the same shark!
